    Deleting files doesnt reclaim space

I have a 2gb nano formated for mac. I use it alot to copy images on to use or print off at uni, but when I delete them I dont get back the space that they used, it just stays up as used space. Is there anyway to get back the space without having to reform the nano all the time? Cheers

I also like the fact that the iSight is hidden! It looked so bad having a little black square on the plain white computer. Kinda like a pimple

I have to kinda agree with Mikuro, when I first took a look at it is was thinking, "aye? They added a black logo and an ugly black frame to what was, a clean simple design. BUT, after looking a tiny bit deaper into the matter I think its going to win me over big time. I wouldnt be surprised to...

Lost alot of space on HD

Thanks for the apps guys! Heres a screen shot of my file sizes, nothing seems too wrong except those files add up to about 33gb when everything else tells me I've used 39gb, so theres 6gb still missing. 6gigs isnt too bad I guess (unless there is something wrong in the screen shot) or...

Lost alot of space on HD

I used onyx to deleted logs etc. and get back up to just over 16GB of free space. When I do 'get info' on my HD says I have used 38.99GB. What is using up all the rest of the space? Because when I look at the size of files in that screen shot I've only used up just over 21GB. So theres...

Lost alot of space on HD

Theres quite alot of logs and they all seem fairly long. Not sure how long is healthy or how to check the file sizes of each log. Should I just use the clear button to get rid of my logs? Cheers

    Bombing Britian

More people died driving on New Zealand roads (6 in total) over the weekend than those that died in terrorist attacks. Get some perspective. A war of motor vehicles is whats needed.

It seems im the only one that thinks cover flow makes more sense in the finder than in iTunes. Yes you flip through the CD's. records etc. in your collection/store but on a computer it doesnt really help you find the songs or album you want to listen to. Infact I find it awfully hard to find the...

Should I? Would You? What ya think?

I think all the ipods except for the shuffle are about ready for a revision: http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/#Full_size_iPod You could wait it out until just before you go on holiday and if the situation hasnt changed by then, go out and buy one... or if your still uncomfortable you could go...

    Thinkfree.com

...And really good for lecturures. Instead of having to lug around your laptop (not that macbooks/pros are that hard to carry anyway) you could just have your little nano. Would be pretty cool.

    Mail.app hates me :(

aaaah, thanks for de-crypting the error. You would think software companys would make these error messages understandable to more than 0.00001% of the user base. So it doesnt sound like theres much I can do to fix the issue?
