There is another place where you should be able to do this. In the sound system prefs you can choose what device sound input and output use, when i have my headset paired, then it appears there. Maybe just setting sound to use the headset would sort the issue. Not sure though.

unfortunately as far as im aware, most (if not all) bluetooth headsets can only be paired with one device at a time. they do not have the capacity for multiple pairings. this is also partly due to security and ease of use. if your phone and computer were both paired with it, and skype rang on...

Whats a good app for finding, downloading and implementing album art with the minimum hassle. As far as i recall, Sofa was great, but now sadly gone (?) is there anything that does this as its sole purpose?

I would run it on a G3 powermac with 9.2 on it. I dont think classic would run it would it?

See thats the weird thing, with the app open, the menu item still doesnt sync the phone, only by pressing sync in the app do i get a sync working. Yet no errors pop up when using menu item.

One other place apps seem to dump stuff is in the Shared Folder in Users. This mildly annoys me, i have some Macromedia stuff in there amongst other things. So, would it not be reasonable to put things that are needed system wide directly into the App Support folder, and local user items in...

hi, not sure if this helps, but when i had my P800, i didnt use anything other than iSync and the phone. It worked great. ok so i couldnt send SMS from the address book, but otherwise i had no issues.

Yeah, im sure there are more people that would like to track down past distractions. There must be a place to find them. Im not convinced that copies dont exist.

Thanks for the help. That didnt work. Neither did formatting it into every conceivable file system :) guess my mac wont be able to write to it.

UPDATE: my fedora core 2 box can read and write to it too. will have to try formatting it into some unix partition. Confused now.

Tried with FAT16, its really strange. You can browse and use the disk on the mac, just not write :S

Yup, cant see or find a switch of any sort :S That would also not really explain why windows can write and mac cant would it?
