I see where he would be coming from on a few points... the 2 processors would be good for apps that do support dual processors, and seeing your signature, I think you've already got a kick ass machine... the DDR RAM in the new models isn't fully implemented and the processors can't use the RAM...

I used Fireworks and Photoshop... Photoshop wins my vote hands down... IMO, it was more flexible for me... and my work looked much better in PS than Fireworks (through my own comparison, work I did in Fireworks looks like crap compared to what I do in Photoshop)

Quartz Extreme would probably the factor in the transitioning there... not 100% sure though, you might want a 2nd opinion...

My opinion, it's good to have a backup in case of trying times... if they can't use PPC or whatever, Apple has a working version of their OS on a different platform. They could possibly make a compatibility layer (like classic, but much better) and quickly make a transition or give their major...

Wow thanks! I've been looking for something like this also, and that company has a better tool for me (i like photos instead of clipart) for $100.... PhotoObjects 50,000 (2 volumes available) with the backgrounds preremoved, it saves me a TON of time! Now, I gotta find $100 :p

where can I get this "deekleaf" thingery? seems pretty damn cool...
