Here is a simple example of what I am trying to do. There the text "LINK" which was first converted to a movie symbol, and then the movie symbol was converted into a button. In the movie clip, there are 28 frames of animation. When the user clicks the "LINKS" text, I want the root scene to skip...

The Movie clip is inside of Scene-1, and the button is inside of the movie clip. scene-1 > movie clip > button Would it be a big help if I posted a *.fla example?

thanks mat. That works when I do not have any animation inside of the movie clip. But here is the problem. Inside a movie clip, I have 30 frames of animation, every frame has a keyframe in it. Do I have to put your: on (release) { _parent.gotoAndPlay(90); } in every single frame?!

Could you re_word your guess? I'm not sure what you are saying. I tried to drag and drop the ISO image into VPC running Windoze XP... CRASH! I will burn the ISO image onto a CD when I get home. I think VPC can "boot" off a CD.

I was wondering if anyone has Darwin x86 running inside of VPC. I would love to try it out. But I dont know how to install it. I have the Darwin x86 downloaded onto my PowerBook... the file is "opendarwin-6.6.1.x86.iso.gz". thanks.

Maybe they learned their lesson? :) I think there will be a huge demand for the new PowerMacs...so Apple is planning ahead.
