My Canon Powershot A40 allows me to take small quicktime films apart from taking photo's. Can anyone tell me how i can capture these small movies in OSX?

two questions 1 the sound and the video are not always synchronous when I play a DVD. Is this a common problem or can I fix it? 2 what does scan frequency mean in the controller menu (2x, 4x, 8x)? Thanks, Martijn

iPod doesn't support MP4 yet but I expect it will in the near future. A great way of expanding my small 5Gb capacity (that's the problem of being the first to have one). However, I read some disturbing posts every now and then that it will not be supported on the 'older' iPods.

I would like to be able to control my webcam remotely, So I can be at my work, get a 'notification' if someone rings at the door and check via the webcam over the internet who is actually there. Has anyone come across such a piece of sw? I think that such a tool would fit in nicely with .Mac...
