Yeah I have a major Safari bug; sometimes it will load all the letters on top of each other. Restarting Safari fixes it. Quite annoying though.

Well that's not really important for you, because if you buy Panther a month later, you will have run Software Update to update the then-updated apps. Well there were several updates of iSync, that weren't in Software Update. Included in the install disc. Now that they use Software Update...

Today, Software Update ran because of an iSync update. There haven't been any other updates in 10.3 except the test one, this is one reason. The second is, all of the iApps were updated in every new build of Panther, and if in fact there would be coming a new version, Apple would add the updated...

I'm sorry to hear that dudes, but seriously, if 10.2.7 works, why do you want .8 so fast? It's not going to make any noticeable difference. You should just either wait until 10.3 to see changes or be happy with a working OS.
