    Apple-Event the 28th

I disagree, fryke. I doubt there will be any replacement for the Power Mac G5 until the next WWDC. The MacBook Pro was introduced early this year because this year is the year of Duo Core (DC) for Intel's mobile processor platform. While latest Intel mobile can deliver good performance over...

    Apple-Event the 28th

Next week, we will see the new iBook, or should I say the "MacBook"? . . . with a single core CPU though. Apple will deliver us something on April 1st, for its anniversary, like the 20th Anniversary Macintosh (http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/20th_mac/index.html).

Could there be brand new iBook next Tuesday?

Nice! But what happened to 12" and 17" MacBook Pros?

The "new 15.4" 16:10 LCD display is nothing new to the PC industry. In fact they have been around for more than 2 years now. This is not to say that the one for the MacBook Pro did not come with the latest technologies. However, Apple picked this size display mainly because it had become the...

Nice! But what happened to 12" and 17" MacBook Pros?

Hmm. . . A possible good point. Or maybe, because most people buy the 15-inch configuration when they get the PowerBook. Any guess is a good guess. Anyone, anyone?

Nice! But what happened to 12" and 17" MacBook Pros?

Steve sure surprised us with the new iMac and the new MacBook Pro. Putting the brand new Intel dual core mobile processors into its consumer portables sure will cut into what is already pretty tight, low profit margins, so Apple surprised us with its consumer desktop and its professional...

It's okay, ScottW, I always appreciate fryke's honesty. Besides, my post would be so boring without his comments.

    2006 MacWorld Expo BOLD Prediction

It's BOLD . . . because I said so. :P Kidding. It's "BOLD" because the first wave of rumors were about the possible new Mac minis and new iBooks. Then the rumor of the new possible PowerBooks emerged. This prediction is "BOLD" because I not only predict three new product lines but I...

    2006 MacWorld Expo BOLD Prediction

Even though I just recently bought myself a HR PowerBook G4, I expect a brand new PowerBook with Intel dual-core mobile processor best known as Yonah. Brand new iBook and Mac mini with Intel single-core Yonah will be released shortly after.

Mac mini the first to go Intel?

Thanks, fryke! Rumors everywhere. I'm still betting on the Mac mini to be the first to go Intel.

    Apple Could Sell Sex

Good one, fryke! The answer to your question, Lt Major Burns, is because IBM is already suppling tri-core PowerPC G5s to Microsoft and Sony to make XBox 360 and soon-to-be-released Playstation 3. With that kind of sales volume, Apple should be able to get a decent pricing for the chip...

    Apple Could Sell Sex

What sign? There's no sign. It's okay if Apple doesn't call it Sex G5, as long as we know what it is really is.

    Apple Could Sell Sex

Yes, but they are the number of processors, not the number of cores on the processors. A Sex G5 would be a 2 tri-core G5 processors that also came in "the power of 2."

Mac mini the first to go Intel?

It's nice to be right. Ever since I meet the PC mini at the Computex 2005, I knew it would be easy for the PC system suppliers to come up with an "Intel-inside" Mac mini. So, everything is on Apple. When will the company introduce the new mini on the new platform really depends on when...

    Apple Could Sell Sex

Now I really wish Apple would come out with one more Power Mac G5 line update with one of the models running dual-processor tri-core PowerPC G5. Only then could I get a shocking face from fryke.

    Apple Could Sell Sex

It depends what you meant by "sell[ing]" my thread. :P What I meant was to attract people into the thread, so they would buy into the possiblity of seeing a dual tri-core G5-processor Power Macintoshes in near future.
