Its the same type as the one on the TiBook. They may be different width though so there is no telling.

I have seen this happen in Carbon apps that have not been fully ported. If your running a Carbon app and this annoys you you could write to the author to get it fixed.

Afraid not. Omniweb has a much nicer interface imho. IE has a cheap aqua distortion of an interface. I prefer OW's interface because it does not look so different from the rest of the OS. It also wraps the favorite bar instead of doing the double-arrow thing that ie does.

Sounds like a great idea. I would modify it to have options such as relaunching all of the unresponsive processes or daemons being run by root, etc.

X has yet to crash for me. 9 would last about 1 or 2 weeks between freezes.

If you have a Kensington mouse the mouseworks software will let you swap the buttons functions. I'm right-handed but I swapped it out for my father (left-handed) to try X.

Not to be rude but how does the amount of cpu time used by the screensaver affect the usability of the computer? You can't do anything while its running and it only uses cpu cycles when its running. Until renice is implemented by one of the updates there is probably no way to change...

Look in the /System/Library/Preferences/Keyboard.preferences and open the nib file. You'll find evidence that hotkey support is coming. As far as mp3 how about showing ID3 info in the Finder?

I'm thinking of getting an iBook or TiBook and set up an airport network. I'm wondering if anyone has been able to set up a desktop computer (like my G4) as a base station in X. Any confirmations on this would be appreciated. Thanks,

Yes iTunes serves as the cd player in X. You can also get a dockling from www.on-core.com that works quite well.

Currently only iTunes can burn CDs in X.

Guess its time for a feedback bug report. Maybe it will be fixed in 2 or 3 weeks with the 10.0.3 update (based on the current rate of updates).

I'm expecting discburner and DVD in the 10.0.3 update. If you go by the current rate of updates it should be available in 2 or 3 weeks. 2 updates within a month of its release is pretty good, especially since the updates are adding features and improving the speed. Keep them coming Apple:).
