While it is a good idea to partition it is not really necessary. You can simply install 9 and then install X over it. You can still dual-boot this way. If your worried about messing up with partitions just do this.

Thats odd. Did you choose to install all the options when you installed X? My 935c shows up as a 930c in Print Center. You may want to try plugging the printer into a different port and see if that works.

Apple hasn't implemmented the uninstall feature of the Package intsaller application. This app is used to install OS X and the system updates etc. It is not really finished yet. Right now to uninstall you have to delete everything while booted in 9 includding several thousand invisible files.

You can also use scroll wheels in Cocoa apps and Carbon apps that have added support for them. The most useful thing when right-clicking is show package contents on files that are actually folders.

Search the forum. You need to remove some files and restart. This is a common problem for people who installed over the PB or other builds that came out before the final.

Just thought of something else. If you put the Dock into the menubar it will be hidden when you open a Classic app. Personally I use the Dock pinned to the right-side of the screen at the bottom with NeXbar on the right edge with other apps in it.

Control-click on the docklet in the Finder and choose show pakage contents. Most of them use icns files for the different images on the dock. Hope this helps,

I have ripped 3 CDs and the slowest was 15x and it got up to 20x. Am I just lucky or something?

I would like to see an app for Mac OS X that lets you set what program opens what extension or file type. I know this can be done from the info window but it would be nice to have it centralized into a single app. It could function in much the same way as file exchange under 9.

It may still be possible but the preference for setting that has been removed. If I can get a copy of the appearance.preference file I may be able to hack the system and re-enable the feature. Only one way to find out for sure though.
