how do i go about using samba? i want to be able to mount my windows XP pro disc on my ibook and i would like to be able to mount my OS X volume on my xp computer as well. how can i do this? i am using 10.1.3. thanks. axel.

i would like to connect to my home PC which runs windows 98 and mount the hard drive on my iBook (OS X 10.1). do I use samba to do this or will I have to get DAVE? and if I do have to use samba, could someone direct to where I could learn how to do this? thanks. axel.

i just downloaded the new driver upgrade for OS X for the Alcatel Speedtouch USB ADSL modem. after running the installer, i could not get it to connect. anyone have success, if so, any tips?? thanks. axel.

i just downloaded windowmaker 0.70.0 and i am having trouble installing it...when i run: ./configure it goes thru a bunch of things but then when it checks for x11 it says that it cannot find it. i know i have it...i installed it two days ago...the directory is /usr/x11r6 does anyone know...
