i'm having some trouble running 10.1 server. it has frozen (colored circle keeps spinning endlessly) occasionally when i try to open an app with some others going on...there is no real pattern with this...it occurs at different times and with different apps. any ideas? thanks. axel.

i am trying to install Adobe InDesign 2.0 on OS 10.1...when i do this the installer says that a system folder is needed in order to install the program...is there any way around this or do i have to install 9 on my system in order to get InDesign to work? thanks. axel.

yes...i do have that version...but i don't like how it takes so long for the menu to open...also a menu icon would be easier for me...i don't know why...i just like them more. axel

i was using 9.2.1 and i went to the startup disk pref panel and selected 10.1...when i restarted my computer, the system folder thing flashed between a question mark and the mac face. i modified nothing in either my 10.1 or 9.2.1 system folders. when i put in my 9.2.1 install disk, it works...

i have changed my main AOL Instant Messenger icon...but when an IM comes, the icon in the dock changes to one that lets you know that an IM has been received. how can i change this? i looked in the resources folder for AIM but i couldn't find anything? anyone know? thanks. axel.

ummm...i dont' have any option besides internal modem. there are no other modems to choose from. as far as what is wrong, i don't know...i try to connect and it says "contacting PPP host" then after a while, it disconnects and says "the PPP host could not negotiate" or something of that...

has anyone had any luck using the internet connect.app in 10.1? it's still not working for me... axel.
