Try iSilox instead, it's not as easy to use as Avantgo, but I think Avantgo is in a hurting way financially and wouldn't hold my breath for an OSX version anytime this lifetime.

Yes I found it odd too when I purchased my new powerbook a few weeks ago. I looked all around for Appleworks and it wasn't there. I was under the mistaken impression that it was included on all macs.

I don't use Toast, but had similiar problems with my USB Iomega ZipCD 650 ... turned out that if I plugged the USB cable directly into my iBook instead of having it go through my USB Hub I could burn CD's just fine. Made a LOT of bad burns before I figured that out. Good Luck!
