    'Restart your computer' message

    At which point does the system crash? during boot or random spots? First thing I would try is getting a new memory stick. Back in the 10.2 -> 10.3 days, I've had memory that worked in 10.2, but crashed when used under 10.3. Guess it just falls out of spec with the newer OS.

    I'm the same way, QS is perfect for launching Applications. Using Spotlight to find documents gives far better results. It comes down to if I find myself double clicking on my HD, something is wrong. I should be able to find that document/application next time with either QS or Spotlight...

    Hey tgbauer, thx for the help. got some more questions. Yes this starts the TFTP service but where is the configuration file for this? Back in 10.2 you used the file /etc/xinted.d/tftp to designate which folder would be the home for TFTP. How is that controlled now? where to the files go...

    New PowerBook.. Still one button?!? Argg!!

    I play all kinds of games with my Powerbook. It is extreamly hard to be efficieant without the use of the second moust button. At times I'm unable to pull out a mouse, so a second mouse button on the laptop would be a great gift.
