If you have the ability to do so I would try booting you machine from a secondary ext. drive USB, FireWire etc. and see if you can get your PB G4 HD updated to 10.1.5. I had a similar issue with my TiBook after a re-install of 10.1.3.

Not sure if this helps but I got my Samsung and Brother LaserJets to work with GIMP-PRINT via IP printing what stumpped me was this, I had to uncheck the "use default queue on server" and enter "lp" (LP all lower case in the feild) your printer documentation may state otherwise. That got me up...

Do you have DAVE 3.1.x installed? I did on 10.1.5 and until I removed it I was getting Kernel Panic errors with my 10.2 upgrade? Just a thought...

Any jo blow router should do the trick, I find Netgear and Linksys work real well with mac's and there well priced.

Well I made the move to Jaguar and it seems my printing situation is no better now then it was with 10.1.x. My network has a Samsong ML-4600 LaserJet and a Brother HL-1030 LaserJet, both are suppose to be compatible with OS X which doesn't seem to be the case. Drivers don't work or the...

Might be an odd question but here goes... I picked a PB 3400c dirt cheap off eBay, the max system software is 9.1 which is fine. I was wondering if anyone is aware of a third party wireless driver I can install to add this machine to my wireless network :confused: Thanks, Finch

I had a similar issue and maybe this will be of use. Are you connect to a router? if so my router (Linksys) it allows me to port forward using its built in setup. that's my bypass route I had to use to get around blocked ports.

Maybe someone can give me a hand with this? I backed up a couple files before installing Jaguar. One of the .sit files is telling me (-43) file can't be found. Anyone know of a way I can possibly un-compress the file. Thanks, Finch :confused:

The current version of DAVE doesn't work work with Jag folks I found this out after my install. Hats off to Apple though, its all built into Jaguar, cross platform networking that is.

I hate it... I'm convinced VPC gets slower with each release and no there isn't much of performance boost in 10.2

Can someone please tell me how to import a .txt or .csv into Mail.app seems to be a little different then 10.1.x. I've tried everything ... :confused:

You can always try a copy DAVE or a cross over ethernet CAT5 cable start up OS X hit command+k and your shared folders should be available.

Maybe someone has a hack, hint or insight? I have a client with one lone Orig. PB G3 the one in the 3400 case still running 9.2.2. They've upgraded the rest of there Mac's to 10.1.5 and would yo do the same for the PB G3. Spec's and documentation state its the only G3 that can't run OS X. Anyone...

Anyone know of a third party wireless driver for Jaguar 10.2? My previous third party wireless driver from http://wirelessdriver.sourceforge.net/ doesn't seem to work anymore. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Finch
