Hello, My 3G iPod died in a fall. After disecting it, I was wondering if there was a way to get the drive to hook up to my G5 to test it out. It didn't work when I tried through the iPod cable. Any thoughts? Thanks, J

Everything is clean (including the disc). The drive burns CDs and DVDs just fine. I have it set to do a DVD back-up through Retrospect every night. Hasn't failed yet. But I've ordered a new SuperDrive from ClubMac. Can't afford not to have it working. Thanks for the reply. J

Ok...got everything hooked up and running via VNC, but ARD won't allow me full admin privleges- basically just lets me control the window. Can't drag and drop files, or even copy them from the controlled to the admin computer. Any thoughts?
