$10 paypal for whoever can help me with my printers

Maybe Thursby's "Dave" would work. You can get a trial here: http://www.thursby.com/products/dave.html It'll allow you to access any printer shared on a PC from a Mac. The software is universal, so your macs should work. However, I think both PC's must be on the same network (both should be a...

Renaming files according to an excel list

Hi, I have a large amount of files that I'd like to rename according to the text data in a Microsoft Excel list. It doesn't matter what order the files are renamed, so long as every one of the names in the list corresponds to only one file. How can I do this? Thanks

Refreshing the size of an iFrame

Thank you for your help. I was able to fix the problem using the link you provided and another resource. In the future, I think iframes have too many restrictions, and fiddling around with them isn't very useful sometimes. Especially in the layout I had planned.

I'm looking into this for my school, which has a collection of rare CDs. They're looking for an efficient way to store the music on a server where anyone on campus can access them. I'm not sure how much space is required, but since they are planning on adding more songs, our estimate is about...

Hi, I'm trying to set up a large music server (>300 GB) and am wondering what's the best way to approach doing this. I'd like the music to be accessible through iTunes, and am not sure if the best way to do it is through the iTunes network share. Is there a better way? Thanks

    How did they do this?

I was thinking the new iMovie, since it has lots of templates where you could drag and drop clips, but I think you're suggesting its more complicated than that. If you know where I can get a tutorial to do this on Final Cut Pro (or any other Mac application), I could use it. Thanks for the...

Use iPod as a Keynote Remote?

Hey, Is it possible to use a 4G iPod (only its middle button) to go through, click by click, a keynote presentation? Thought it might be useful if I could use my iPod, connected to my Powerbook G4 through firewire as a remote while presenting. Thanks!

    Mac Audio vs PC Audio

Hey all, Noticing a difference in sound quality on my mac and my PC, I was wondering what sort of audio cards macs use. And also, in the future, with macs on intel processors, will mac users be allowed to share the same audio/video cards?
