o.k. guys... here's the problem. when i stick in a disk that is formatted from a pc, osx can't seem to recognize it (although the disk utility does see that it's a zip disk, but it won't mount it). i worked fine in os9, but i had that feature turned on. how do i do this is osx? kafene

i haven't had much experience printing anything (to a printer or .ps file) in osx. do you know if ppd's from osx would work in osx also? kafene.

i know what you're talking about. depending on the application, set the page size to the size you want to create a pdf to. i don't normally do this (i create a postscript file and distill it to get my pdf). if your ppd does not allow you to change the page size, you'll need to get one that...

when i try to open an app. that is os9, it starts the classic mode, but then errors out saying, "You do not have sufficient permissions to run Classic from /System/Library/CoreServices. Please correct permissions and restart Classic." what does that mean? and how do i get into classic from osx...
