    What happens if you do click on the icon? does it highlight it and you just cant open? or does it refuse to do even that? What happens if you click and hold on a dock icon, do you still get a list popping up?

    Your problem is that the file you're trying to access when you click on that link is a dll or dynamic linked library, so I think you're going to need a windows OS

    May I ask what pages you're trying to view? Also, often Firefox can display some pages which Safari has problems with.

    You want your movies to be MP4 to play on the video iPod. However iTunes should be able to convert them for you. If it doesn't do it automatically, just go to movies and right/control click on the movie and click on "Convert Selection for iPod"

    No Available Users?

    FWIW I recently booted up into my "backup" and discovered exactly the same problem. Interestingly enough, if I browse the drive and all my users are still there in their User folder. This doesn't bother me too much as I just need to perform a new backup from scratch and it should sort it out...
