Hi there! Is there any easy way to sync addressbook data between to macs without having a .mac account. I'm looking for a way that is as easy as "ical exchange" is for my calender data. Maybe a patch for isync to use other webdav-volumes than .mac. Any Solutions? Thank you Alex

Hi There! To make it short: Does anybody know how to make a new 12" Powerbook OS9-bootable? Please don't waste your time, telling me how great OS X is (I love it), or that most of the APPS will run in Classic (they don't). For example you cannot run Norton Disk Doctor on the new PowerBooks...

The coolest thing I ever had on my "I-have-to-work-on-two-systems-machine". Thanks a lot. Yes put it to the FAQ!!! Note, that you cannot just delete the OSX desktop folder. You have to do a "rm -R Desktop" in the terminal. COOOL.

The X-key works! But the 9 doesn't (Itried both 9-keys on the keyboard)! I used to have more than one partition, but... than I kept running out of HD-memory on one or the other. :confused: :confused: :confused:

Thanx tigger! But it doesn't work on my iMac DV. The option key works only with different partitions. Yeah, pressing it, I can choose between the one partition I have - this is making no sense... Neither the X- nor the 9-key is having any effect. By the way: I got the latest firmware-update...

Hi Jamescat! Nothing missing. What you mentioned is exactly what I wanted to do. I wrote some applescripts, put them in one folder and put this folder to the dock. It works... most of the time ;) Thank You. If anyone is interested in the scripts, just post here...

Hi! I'm using my Mac for very different things, so I'm looking for a way to have very different docks (I love the dock!!!). The best would be to have a little menu (or alias in the dock) to change the applications that are in. Does anyone know a solution to have multiple docks and a switch...
