I'm falling at the first hurdle in Project Builder

Well, you asked for it. Don't say I didn't warn you. Here it is: ConverterController.h: /* ConverterController */ #import <Cocoa/Cocoa.h> @interface ConverterController : NSObject { IBOutlet id converter; IBOutlet id dollarField; IBOutlet id rateField; IBOutlet id...

I'm falling at the first hurdle in Project Builder

I have just gone through the whole of the tutorial (pdf) and looked at each include and import. I don't seem to have left anything out. Could my problem have anything to do with versions? I'm using OS X 10.1.5, and Project Builder version 2.0, April 2002 Developer Tools Beta.

I'm falling at the first hurdle in Project Builder

Hi, I thought I'd use the xmas / new year break to try out Project Builder, following the Currency Calculator example. It was all easy enough to follow, but I can't actually get the app to run. It compiles OK, but throws error messages when I run it. Can anyone help? The error messages I'm...

    How to burn an ISO?

I'm a bit of an OS junkie. I'd like to try out different operating systems. I downloaded OpenBSD recently to try on my intel machine, but the normal way of copying produced just an copy of the ISO file. It didn't generate a bootable CD ROM. How do you do that from OS X? The burner in the ibook...

    Any WYSIWYG html editors?

I've been using Dreamweaver MX. I like it, but my trial has run out :(. I don't need all the features, just basic word processing with links. Any suggestions? I can't seem to find anything on google. I use Mozilla composer, but its font list didn't include the fonts I want, even though MX had no...

How to reuse a CD Rom

Hi, I'm new to CR burning with our new iBook running 10.1.5. I put a couple of things I downloaded onto a CD for work, then thought of a couple of other things that would be useful, but I could no longer drag and drop the files onto the CD icon. I know that what happens is the old files are lost...

uptime reveals 2 extra users! Why?

Thanks for the reassurance, but I'm trying to work up a heroic up-time, so I'm reluctant to reboot unnecessary. That's not the Unix way. And I am on an airport with a cable modem on all the time, so I am a bit worried about people hacking into the machine. Any other ideas, anyone?

uptime reveals 2 extra users! Why?

    Thanks for the reply. I'm still trying. I've logged in as my wife, and get this: [localhost:~] helena% who helena console Nov 24 19:29 markpatt ttyp1 Nov 24 19:07 markpatt ttyp2 Nov 24 09:08 markpatt ttyp3 Nov 24 09:08 helena ttyp4 Nov 24 19:30 markpatt ttyp5 Nov...

uptime reveals 2 extra users! Why?

Thanks, that makes it clearer. Perhaps the word users is a bit confusing.

uptime reveals 2 extra users! Why?

Here's the output from uptime: [localhost:~] markpatt% uptime 11:06PM up 22 days, 1:57, 5 users, load averages: 1.16, 1.16, 1.00 We have only 3 users on this machine: me, my wife and my son. So why does it say 5 users?

Networking Win98 + Nic to OS X with Airport

Hi, I have joined the Mac world by getting an iBook. I got an airport for the convenience. But I would like to get my old beige box running win 98 on the network to share files between the 2 machines, and to serve as a printer server. I'm not abandoning the old beige box. I'm a Delphi...
