I was reading on Anandtech that they've made MacBook Pros become Windows machines. Has anybody ever had any luck on turning/converting MacBook Pros into (native) Solaris machines (i.e. without the usage of VM)? Most of the research that I've done up to this point have all pointed to some form...

I'm thinking about replacing /usr/bin/top with the one from Solaris procps. Anybody have any ideas on how I might actually go about doing that?

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread. So, does that probably mean that if you're a Solaris administrator, getting OS X to do what you want it to do via CLI probably isn't anything THAT out of the ordinary or that difficult. But it might be more for like the "Windows" crowd or those that DON'T...

I'm checking the man pages for df(1) and it says that the flag '-i' is now the default to conform to SUSv3. Is there a way to suppress all inode information or would I have to download and recompile the df command?
