    OK, booted directly into OS 9; 53-minute desktop-rebuild (eek!); launched Outlook 2001 fine and found old accounts BUT not the new one I created recently. Deleted old accounts, re-created the proper new one, and BINGO, all was fine. Rebooted, worked again... Rebooted into Tiger...same...
