Hey, just now got around to trying that. Thanks! That was stupid on my part. I had it set to maximum. I had to run it all the way down (the scrolling speed) to zero to get that same feeling I got on Windows. Thanks again. cbmeeks

Our Mac is 10.3.8 Everyone has their own account and mine is the only one that is Admin. When we punish the girls, on the PC I could disable their account without deleting and they couldn't log in. How can I do this on the Mac? I have changed the password but it says they can change...

I'm no expert with the Mac but I use VNC on about 80 machines in the company I work for. I am pretty sure that VNC simply doesn't work with OS9. I could be wrong. When you reboot the Mac, does OS9 load? Do you even need OS9? If not, I would disable it.

I am running FireFox on 10.1.5 right now. It's not just the browser. Mail does it too. So does system update. It's like the Mac can't find the gateway for 40 - 50 seconds and then it all starts working. I had my DSL speed increased yesterday and that helped a lot. I can't go to 10.3...

Do you know if you connect with a PPPoE connection? (username & password)? If so, go under your Network properties and put in all of the information supplied by your ISP. Should match up pretty well. If not using PPPoE, then just set your network settings to use DHCP. That should do it...
