This was a regular occurrance with my old 3G 40gb iPod, but has not happened once with my 4G 40gb, although it does tend to reset itself; ie when I turn it on the Apple logo appears as if it were resetting.

On the iMac, the IR sensor is in the Apple Logo on the front under the screen.

I am surprised they haven't played on the 'no viruses, no adware, no spyware etc' point. I would have thought that that would appeal to more windows users than anything else.

Open your Applications folder, and find the Dashboard app. Drag it from your apps folder and place it where you want to in the dock.
