Okay pop ups may be the wrong term to use for these. They are windows that open on login. I have tried removing this program several ways, manually, with the uninstaller, and with a software called apptrap. I tried rooting it out of the Login Menu Items and System Preferences but Intego Virus...

A word of caution...some virus protection software is worse than a virus itself. I have to reinstall my OS this week because of an install of Intego Virus Barrier X5 that F*****ed up my Macbook and can't be fully removed.

How much memory do you have installed? Safari on my macbook becomes unstable when it runs low on memory or virtual memory. Some web sites do catch Safari tho and it may be just some incompatibility with the browser.

After installing and removing an anti-virus program (intego) I am left with pop ups when I boot up my macbook. They look like windows showing my hard drive and connections. I have no idea how to get rid of these on a mac and they are annoying. Any ideas?
