Yes I did (not that I see why that would matter), and even tried to mount the shares via smb on the Mac. And I"m mounting between: #1 - Macbook Pro #2 - Mac Mini #3 - FreeBSD Server No windoze boxes...

I had the same sort of problem on my MBP and tried everything. I found Trash It! which took care of the problem. Haven't had the file come back since I've ran that! Good Luck! Robert

Mark, that's ln -s ... as in: LN -S (but all lower case) not In... Robert PS - Sorry to but in... (in stands for link, and what you are doing is creating a symbolic link)...
