I just got a new hard drive for my Macbook Pro, but my internet speed is awful. I have the fastest wireless plan, so is it a memory issue? I'm very frustrated with this laptop.

For some unknown reason, the unmount disk option finally worked for the external. The Repair Disk worked, too, and I was able to transfer my file from the laptop to the external, hooray! I also restarted the computer to make sure. It makes sense that Repair Disk would also verify, you're right...

the only option was to Repair Disk, which found some corruption...it suggested running Verify and Repair, but Disk Utility says the external can't be unmounted

Aaaargh, my bookmarks Safari, Chrome and Firefox are gone (don't ask). Is there ANY way to retrieve these? Thanks for any help!

Ah, I didn't realize there were two Library areas. Found the ForgetMeNot plug-in bundle under SIMBL, deleted it, restarted Safari, and voila! Thanks very much for the help.

There is no SIMBL file.

Whenever I start Safari, I receive the attached error message. I HAVE deleted all SIMBL files that I could find, and deleted the ForgetMeNot plug-in some time ago. I was wondering if there is any other solution without having to reinstall Safari? Thanks for any help. I use a Macbook.

When I try to make a custom DVD using Toast, I am not able to see scenes to choose from, only file names on the DVD I want to choose from. How do I choose scenes? Thanks for any help.
