Hmmm...I don't remember mentioning anything about worrying about costs?? We are worried about finding an app that will do what we need. Maybe I should have mentioned that money isn't an issue. :-)
Correct. That is exactly why we want a standard application because we don't want any more...
I hope I am in the right place and sorry for the long post but we are under the guns here.
To make a long story short, a friend of mine has his own company and this company creates mug designs, calendar designs, keytags, etc. Graphic design on a simple, small scale. Now, here's the...
I just got in iLife5 and created a home movie using iDVD/iMovie.
I was really impressed with the ease and professional output but when I played the dvd in my home dvd player, the video skips and "crumbles" a lot!
It's hard to explain...for those with satellite tv, it looks like the picture...
Yeah, have you ever notice that everyone out there is labeled the next "iPod Killer".
I mean, when's the last time you heard the phrase: "the next DJ Ditty Killer"....LMAO

Oh, ok. Since I have NEVER bought music from anyone but iTunes, I should be ok?
I mean, I downloaded hard for like 4 years until about 2001. Then, I just stopped for a long time, then, got into iTunes recently.
So, I guess I am good.
I heard that iPod ONLY plays music downloaded from iTunes. Is this true?
I mean, I just recently started getting music legally (yes, I know). I have purchased about 20 songs maybe but have 4,000 in my collection.

Anyway, here is what I am trying to do.
I have a FreeBSD server running Samba which has all of my music shared. On XP and iTunes, everything is fine and the network is very fast. But using the Mac (10.4), sometimes, I will get the spinning circle for...

A friend of mine bought the 5-user family pack of Tiger for his computer and mine. We both decided to do a clean format and install. Well, all is good but we can no longer find iPhoto. I looked on the disc but couldn't find it.
Is it not included with Tiger?
Thanks

I have a FreeBSD server running Samba and some mapped drives.
On my windows machine, I can transfer a 100 MEG file in no time.
On my Tiger, it takes 2 MINUTES to transfer SEVEN (7) Megs!!
What's the deal?
The machine is a dual 1Ghz, 1Gig ram G4.
I use my server for all data...
For grins, I thought I would play some games on my Mac.
I plugged in my USB WingMan RumblePad but nothing happened.
I went to the About the Mac and it saw the joypad. But, I can't find any joystick control panel like in Windows. Surely I don't have to purchase software to configure my...
