Sorry for the ambiguity. Software Update fails to connect to the server. The status bar just seems to hang around mid-way through the proccess. it doesn't crash or anything, just hags there in the same spot.

For some reason, I have not been able to receive software updates when I select the option from the apple menu. At first I thought that maybe the site was just getting hit due to it being the first day Tiger was released, but it has not been able to work since then....last night I left it...
