    FelineAvenger, thanks for the reply! i have been trying to get this guestbook program (megabook) running, and it is having a problem with that line. if i remove the "<" it works fine. all the other items you metion are all set. i have the permissions all set up properly, and it still dies...

    hello all, well, a bonehead move indeed. i deleted my /usr/local/libexec files, and i don't know how to get them back... i tried a re-install, but that did nothing... does anyone have any suggestions? thanks bill

    hello all! i have configured sendmail, and all appears to be well. i can telnet to port 25. when i try to send mail from mail.app, i get the following error in my mail.log file: reject =451 4.1.8 Domain of sender address xxx@xxxx does not resolve xxx@xxxx is a valid email address...
