I had the same problem recently (ie crashing - no suprise). trashing the ie preferences cured the problem.

Drive 10 has helped with fixing volume structures when disk utility could not.
The ability to optimize is handy. Alsoft lost my continued support long ago due to upgrade/pricing policies.

Has anyone tried this app? I am reluctant to upgrade VPC for $100 and put money in Bill's pocket.
