It was the same shit that happend to me... But all you have to do is download the Security Update 1.0 and The Mac OS X 10.1.4 update and Installer Update 10.1 Install them in the order: Security, Installer Update, Mac OS X update.... It made my cable work... Good luck...

It couldn't be too hard to program a little app that listed a folder and then delete all files that the folder containing. If anyone got the knowledge, please make one and post it here at this forum...
