10.2.1 Release Reported...

*laughs* I think someone at Apple jumped the gun..

To give the thread starter the benefit of the doubt, the first document has apparently been yanked, and there's no sign of 10.2.1 on the second one.

It'll be online soon enough, though. But all of those premature threads... And calling them 'release reported'...

It's a rumour until it's there. ;)

Very true... I picked it off Macintouch which is generally pretty good about the news they post. Guess Apple wasn't quite ready...

I want:
If it's the OS doing it, stop putting "Temporary Items" folders on my HD's. Make them hidden ".temporary" instead so I don't have to look at them.

Stop Finder crashing all the time.

Stop iChat crashing all the time.

Fix icon copying and pasting and let us paste over folders with their own icons.

Show MORE info in blue on folders that have "Show Info" checked. Like file size, dates and everything. Options would be nice. Once those are in place, the option would be perfect.

Make it so when a folder background it dark, the text becomes WHITE sp you can READ IT.

Let us change the color in List view and let Column View show the color or image as well.

Let the image tile and not just sit in the corner.

Menu Extras support must be returned or heads will roll.

Copying files with names longer than 31 characters across network connection to a computer running OS 7, 8 or 9 produces error. OS X should automatically shorten the filename so I can copy long named files easier. It's only common sense.

And some far off options:
Finder Folder content transparency. Like the Terminal. Would just look very cool. Either by folder or globally.

iChat window content transparency.

Buddies in iChat Buddy List with pictures off need some other form of ID. I suggest each buddy could have a custom item color to make it easy to glance at who's online.
