10.2 on 266 Mhz G3 PB

I just installed 10.2 on my mom's 266 G3 WallStreet PB, and all I have to say is, WOW... I installed it on my G4 last night, and I was only sudo-impressed (mainly because of my iSub not working) But the speed on the PB is amazing... there is no Quartz Extreme support, but the graphics are pretty good for a 4 year old laptop... and the boot up time whent from about 2 min to about 45 Sec... I would have to say I am much more impressed with 10.2 on this G3 then on My G4... if only I could get my iSub working.

How much RAM is in the powerbook? What size harddisk?

I'm considering upgrading mine but not certain if she's up to it.

400 Mhz G3, 5 Gb harddisk, 192 MB RAM.

yours is beefer than my mom's, hers is a 266 Mhz G3, 4 GB HD, 192 MB RAM.... you won't be sorry... except it does take almost 2 gigs of HD space....
