adding konfabulator to startup

Ok I am new and still trying to figure things out. What I would like to do is set konfabulator to start on startup. Is this possible? I goto like I read in a few other posts to the System>Library>startupitems, but it will not allow me to add things to this folder. Any help would be appreciated!!

go in to system prefrences in to the "log in" preference and on the "login items" tab add it to the list.
