Hey I was wondering if someone could help.
I recently reinstalled my Mac OS X over the top of the previous Mac OS X as it had stopped working. Everything is working fine except for the user passwords. The root password still works fine. However, If i try to alter something (e.g. network preferences) when it asks for my user name and password it will not accept these. I have tried changing them to no avail. Furthermore If i log out, I can log in with the user with this password. This is being really frustrating, I was wondering if anyone could help.
Many Thanks
Kieran
