Airport & HP PSC 2110

When I got the AEBS I was looking foward to wireless printing from my iBook (Airport card & OS 10.2.6). Unfortunately, it was not to be. My HP PSC 2110 is not on the compatability list.

Now, I've got the Gimp Print package downloaded on my HD. My printer is not 'officially' supported, but has been 'reported' to work with the listed driver.

The Gimp Print Developers acknowledge that a clean uninstall is difficult, so I'm hoping to hear from anyone who has had success printing with the AEBS & HP PCS 2110.

I've got v 4.2.5 of the Gimp and ESP Ghostscript 7.05.6. As yet, I've installed neither.
If I understand correctly, you're suggesting installing the 'hpijs driver' instead of the Gimp driver?
I'd still need Ghostscript regardless of which driver I install?

As you can all see, I'm sortta pushing my envelope here.
That's OK, I just want to establish a bit of a knowledge base before I start clicking buttons.
 
Actually, I recommend you go to the hpijs link of that url and look for your printer - the recommended driver may be hpijs or some other. If your printer isn't postscript, yes you'll need ghostscript.
I think the list of compatible printers are the ones auto sensed.
Please let us know- we're all trying to learn.
