Apple 23 inch Studio LCD response time for HDTV?

I'm looking at using the Apple 23 inch Studio LCD monitor for HDTV, however it has a listed pixel response rate of 16 ms. Does anyone know if that is fast enough for sports? Or will I have a hard time seeing the baseball, tennis ball, etc ...

Most HDTVs have a pixel response rate of 8ms, sometimes faster. While 16ms is in no way "bad", you may experience a little smearing and tearing during fast-action scenes. I don't think it would detract from the experience, though -- I think Tiger Woods would have to hit his golf ball pretty damn fast for it to smear so much you couldn't see it...
