Apple Server and Windows Clients

We will have an environment of Apple server and Windows clients. We plan to use Open Directory. Does anyone have experience with this? Can someone point me where to find more information about setting up this environment and enforcing Open Directory policies to Windows clients?

Assuming you are running 10.6 and have file sharing enabled your SMB service should already be running.

If not, add the SMB service by clicking the + button in the lower left hand corner of Server Admin to add service, and select SMB.

You will need to start the SMB service after you have added it.

As for policy enforcement across client platforms you'd probably have to have a more specific question as this is a very broad area.
