Applescript question

I have a USB pen drive that I frequently use for getting files at work and then coming home and copying them to my Mac. I was wondering if it would be possible to write an Applescript to save me some time in copying stuff from the drive to my Mac. Would it be possible to write one where once the drive was mounted the files on the drive would automatically be copied to a folder on my hard drive, deleted from the pen drive, and then the drive would be ejected? Not necessarily do all those things, but I was wondering if it would be possible to write an Applescript to help save me a little time.

In short, yes. Your script could run as a background application that looks for the volume to be mounted and then sleeps for a few seconds.

See if he'd be willing to extend his app to work with pen drives in addition to iPods.
