AppleScript semi-easter-egg and question

OK. This first thing is kind of funny. Open the Script Editor in OS X -- doesn't matter what version of OS X or of the Script Editor. Now make a new script window if one hasn't already been created. Then press the "Record" button, and then try and quit Script Editor.

This is the only case in the whole operating system of any version of OS X that I have seen the computer refer to itself.

Now for my question -- does recording work for anyone?

Heh... I wonder if the script editor does the same thing in 9.x... Probably does and this is a leftover. The computer referring to itself in the first person is so very '70's...

I've yet to see script recording work in OSX, whether with Carbon or Cocoa apps. I think it's broken.

p.s. I miss recording too! I'm an amateur applescripter! Bring it back!
