Apps have been moved

Sometimes I will get the message "Safari.app (or Mail) has been moved. Do you want to update keychain settings?" or something like that. I just click yes and all goes well, just wondering why it is going on.

Have you moved the app? Is the app still in the default Applications folder?

Probably happens after installing Software Updates, right?
If so, it just means that the keychain needs to be changed to work with the program again, because installing an update from Apple usually 'resets' the keychain's allowed programs. I liked the message for this in Jaguar better, it made more sense.

I don't remember the Jaguar messages either. They can't have been _that_ good, then. ... But I have to agree that 'moved' is a bit too UNIXy a term for a Mac here. They could use 'changed' or 'modified', which would probably revoke the user's memory that it just had been updated.
