While I used to be able to archive my games using the disk utility to make a .dmg image of a disc to my hard drive allowing me to store the original safely away I can no longer seem to do this; at least not on an Intel Mac, or maybe it is the games themselves, "Call of Duty 4" for example, although I can not do this with a number of other apps as well. My original discs are starting to show scratches from just spinning in my cd drive. Does anyone know how to archive games like these so I can store the original discs away?
