Auto-reconnect bluetooth mighty mouse?

Is there a way to get the bluetooth might mouse to automatically reconnect?

I close my powerbook at the end of the day and go home, leaving the mouse on my desk. When I show up the next morning, I have to run the bluetooth setup assistant to reestablish the connection.

I figured it would just automatically reconnect once it was paired, but this doesn't seem to be the case. Am I doing something wrong?
 
I use a bluetooth mouse, though not the mighty mouse, so my experience may not apply to your situation. I know that it seems like it takes a long time (maybe a minute) for the mouse to "wake up" after my PB has been sleeping, and that it usually takes a couple of clicks to get it going. Perhaps you are not giving it enough time to wake?
 
I turn the machine completely off each night. When I turn it and the mouse back on it's automatically found with no delay. Same with the keyboard.
