AutoCAD for mac os x??

i'm just about to make my brother-in-law make the switch. he's an electrician and uses AutoCAD (Electrical) at work - is there any similar programs on the os x-side??

the app need to be able to convert or work with .dwg-files and have the same basics as AutoCAD.

this would be kinda crucial if he is gonna take the leap over to the good side..

any help would be great!

gee. thanks alot! didn't know CAD was such a standard as it seems to be

at least it convinced me, just looking at the list you gave me, so i hope it will do teh trick for him aswell!
