Bluetooth?

I recently purchased a new G5 just at the first of the year and I am thinking about getting a wireless mouse and maybe a keyboard. The $60 mouse requires a $40 adapter unless you have Bluetooth built-in. How do I know if Bluetooth is present or not.

Apple told me that unless I bought it directly from them it doesn't. It was bought from an authorized Apple Reseller.

Open System Preferences and click on Bluetooth. Is it all grey or do you have the chance to set any options or turn on/off your adapter? If everything is grey you have no built-in bluetooth in your G5. However, if you are going to only use your keyboard and mouse over the bluetooth connection you could buy any usb dongle that is available and even doesn't say that it's supported by Macs. If you are going to use it with your bluetooth headset you might want to go for the D-link DBT-120.
