In a recent post to Apple's iMovie discussion boards, I noted that many contributors there were using iMovie in a commercial context, and that Apple might be a little miffed that its free home movie software was taking potential sales away from Final Cut Express. I added that only a cynic would think that releasing a crippled version of iMovie was a deliberate ploy....
Whaddaya know. Apple just sent me a terse note telling me that my message had been removed from their discussions because its content was considered 'not appropriate'. Now that's the kinda thing that could make a guy real cynical.
