Burn DVD from iso file

Is it possible to burn a DVD to a DVD-R (which can be played on standard table-top DVD players, or on a computer) from an ISO file? Furthermore, does anyone know of a freeshare program that will do this?
 
You can use Mac OS X's "Disk Utility" (located in /Applications/Utilities/) to burn an .ISO image to a DVD-R disk. Simply drag the .ISO image file into the left-hand sidebar, click on it to highlight it, then click the "Burn" icon.
 
Are you asking if you can burn a dvd movie saved in .iso format? If so, then yes. Follow the helpful posts above.
