Can't boot with MacOS9

When I change my startupdisk from MacOS X to the partition with MacOS 9.2 , the mac can't boot. He doesn't find a system folder. When I boot from CD the disc with the 2 OS partitions doesn't appear, so I can't reinstall MacOS9 ... how can I solve this problem?

if you have formatted your HD with Mac os X and during partitioning you have uncecked the Install Mac OS 9 diriver ... this can be your broblem ...

if so you have to
reboot your mac via Mac OS 9 install cd
open DriveSetup application
from the Option menu select the set volumes command (or something similar)
now select your hd drive in the set volumes window
and clicking on your mac os 9 partition
reactivate the automount at startup option
