Can't Download Software Updates

I just reinstalled Mac OS X (Leopard) on my computer, because I completely messed up a .plist file. Now, I'm running on 10.5.0 and can't run a software update! Here's the message that pops up whenever I try to download an update:

Does anyone know what the problem is?

If you right click on the picture, it lets you download it edcc.

How do you connect to the internet, wirelessly, ethernet ect. ?

Can you use safari?

Or, just go direct to Apple downloads for the 10.5.7 combined updater. http://support.apple.com/downloads/Mac_OS_X_10_5_7_Combo_Update

Run that update, which will take you to current version. See if your software update will now run.

I am connected to the internet wirelessly. Yes, I am able to surf the web with Safari. I was able to use the software update until I reinstalled Mac OS X today.

Did you try to download the 10.5.7 Combo Updater that EDCC, Jessie714, and DeltaMac advised you to do? Just go to the link that DeltaMac provided, download it to your desktop, double-click the disk image to mount it, and then double click the installer for the 10.5.7 Combo Updater.

Check the "timestamp" of yours and DeltaMacs posts, and you'll see he was not trying to steal your thunder...

You may want to try Onyx, i think deltamac or djackmac was saying that its made for plists.
